Costumes should be made of flame-resistant material. Don’t walk near lit candles.
Add reflective tape to costumes and bags.
Costumes should fit properly to prevent blocked vision and falls.
Children should walk in groups with a trusted adult.
Make sure kids know their home phone number and how to call 911.
Carry flashlights and glow sticks to increase visibility.
Only enter homes if a trusted adult is present.
Examine treats. Homemade treats should only be eaten if you know the cook.
